Cingular Wireless realizes that phones start to wear after a period of time and customers may also want to change with the times, so it created the Phone Upgrade Program.

Here's how it works:

After a customer is a certain number of months into a contract, an account executive can request approval for an equipment upgrade. After approval, the customer can then choose to replace an existing phone with a new one for an enormous discount. The customer would get the discount as a thank you for extending the term of the contract. The amount of discount is based on the commitment term. The longer the term, the greater the discount.

It's an excellent way to replace possibly outdated equipment at affordable prices.
